The Aura From Ibiza

Aura Entrance Ibiza
Each season in Ibiza, there is somewhere new to go. A place, a bar or party, that people in the know usually head to, away from all the commercial, tourist areas. For the last number of years, a venue that is now "trending" in Ibiza is Aura, located on the main San Joan road from Ibiza town.

Its a fusion of food, music, cocktails and late night partying, all under the starlit skies of beautiful Northern Ibiza. Its an area more frequented by the nature loving, real Ibiza traditionalists, rather than the trendy, young socialites into their designer labels, House music and Mojitos. A number of well known local bars and restaurants are located nearby, most notably Bambuddhah Grove, Es Caliu, Monkey Bar and Cami De Balifa.

Aura is open over 5 years now, so it has steadily built up its reputation from hard work and by offering a product its customer wants.  Aura offers a romantic garden setting in the countryside, with a stylish open air restaurant with fresh, locally sourced, Mediterrian and Moroccan influenced food, served amid the orange blossom trees. The cocktail terrace is where people meet and relax with a pre dinner cocktail and its where the atmosphere starts to build.

The party then moves indoors after midnight, where the music match's the quality of the food and ambiance. Many only arrive to Aura at 2am, for the people and sound of the music, which ranges from disco, to old school and progressive House. Aura seems to have found that gap in the market, that successfully blends the Real Ibiza spirit with modern culture. The best way to experience the Aura vibe, is to book a table for 9pm, sit back and have a leisurely meal under the stars, while slowly building up into a night that ends with a party vibe that Ibiza is famous for.  In traditional Ibiza style, there is no cover charge and the bar is always open.

  1. Hey Danny
I'm in Ibiza in 2 wks and was looking at booking a table here for a night out. I'm staying in San An so it looks like I'll have to get a taxi there and back. Was wondering what the prices for food and drink are like, as it could turn out to be a expensive night

  2. Hi,

What you could do is get a bus into Ibiza town from San An and then a taxi from there to Aura. Cost about 20e. rather than 45 from San An.

A nice meal with a bottle of wine would cost about 100 per couple. Check out the menu with prices on http://www.auraibiza.com/
